On the day we arrived in Havana, we went to the first site scheduled to be replaced in Cotorro. We were welcomed by the Mayor at his office and then we went to the park to unpack the equipment. We returned the following day to complete construction. We would return a final time on Thursday to celebrate the opening of the park with the local officials and the neighborhood families. While we worked on the other sites, the Cuban workers repainted the fence around the park and resurfaced the ground around the equipment. Read more about the construction of this playground here.
