On Thursday, September 29, we returned to Cotorro for the Inauguration Ceremony to officially open the parks we had constructed. Since we were short on time, we inaugurated all four parks at Cotorro and the ceremony was attended by officials and families from San Agustin, Santa Amalia and Guanabacoa, as well as Cotorro. The ceremony began at the Mayors office and then we walked one block to the site to open it with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The photos below show the enjoyment the new equipment brings to the young children of Cuba which is what the Playground Projects are all about. Enjoy!
